01 Cost of the usual way

What buying a website usually costs you, beyond the invoice

  1. 01

    Locked into a yearly contract

You keep paying an agency you have already decided to leave, for months.

  2. 02

A freelancer who goes quiet mid-project

Half a site, no support, and a payment already sent.

  3. 03

Hosting, SSL and plugin bills that stack up separately

The "affordable" template costs more once every add-on is billed.

  4. 04

    A two-week wait for a one-line text change

A revision queue that moves slower than your business does.

  5. 05

A generic contractor template with your logo dropped in

The same six pages every trade gets, whether or not they fit yours.

02b Client notes

What owners on each plan say

One note from each plan, so you can see what the money buys in practice.

  • The documentation for the trade service requests pages assumes nothing about the reader. It explains the routine tasks step by step, without assuming any project history. The site survives my holiday now, which it never did before.

Emma WyndhamCall handling lead, fencing and decking installerNaperville, Illinois · Site Crew
  • Our follow-ups on trade service requests used to arrive disguised as brand-new inquiries. The follow-up route asks for a reference and the question itself, nothing more. We answer the question now instead of playing archivist first.

Nicola RushworthCustomer inquiries coordinator, painting and decorating companyStamford, Connecticut · Site Foreman
  • We have more than one contact point, and the old trade service requests page never said which applied where. The visitor picks their location once, and it follows the message all the way to the reply. Customers no longer need a map of our internal structure.

02c After you order

What happens after you order?

Six steps from the first invoice to a site that runs itself. You are never charged the build fee before you have seen and approved the finished site.

  1. 01

    Day 0: first monthly invoice

You choose a plan and pay the first month. The build fee is not charged.

  2. 02

    Same day: onboarding form

About 15 minutes: services, towns, license details, brand, domain and where leads should land.

  3. 03

    Onboarding call

We fill the gaps, agree the page list and set the launch date. The launch clock starts here.

  4. 04

Live in 7 to 15 days

7 on Site Crew, 10 on Site Foreman while you approve the AI scripts, 15 on Site General.

  5. 05

You approve, then the build fee

The $697 build fee is invoiced only once the site is live and you are satisfied.

  6. 06

    Every month after

Weekly updates, articles on schedule and 5 revisions from your client portal.

03 Materials schedule

What every plan includes, regardless of tier

  • Custom-coded pages

No page builder, 90+ PageSpeed guaranteed on mobile and desktop.

  • Full page architecture

Service pages and service area pages built for your trade specifically.

  • A configured quote tool

Asking the questions that actually size a job in your trade.

  • CRM routing

Every enquiry into the system your office already uses.

  • Managed hosting and one free domain

    Nothing itemised, nothing billed separately.

  • Researched articles, on a schedule

2,500 to 3,200 words, published every week.

04 Publishing rate

Article schedule by tier

Every plan publishes researched articles. The schedule is the only thing that changes.

  • Site Crew

    2 / week

Enough to keep a steady drip of local, trade-specific topics publishing.

  • Site Foreman

    2 / week

Same article schedule as the base plan, alongside the AI Engine.

  • Site General

    3 / week

The fastest schedule, paired with social posts and reels from the same material.

05 Revisions

How revisions actually work

A revision is any change you send, of any size, and there is no separate hourly rate hiding behind it.

  • No size limit per revision. A new service page and a full section rewrite both count as one.

  • 5 included every month, then a flat $20 each after that, no hourly billing anywhere.

  • Completed within 2 to 5 working days of us receiving everything we need.

  • Requested from your client portal, tracked so you can see where it is.

  • Refreshed service copy and corrected details as your business changes.

  • New project photos added as you send them.

  • Seasonal messaging reprioritized on the home page as demand shifts.

  • Small fixes made proactively, on top of your monthly revisions, not instead of them.

06 Weekly works

What happens between revisions

Weekly updates keep the site moving even in a month you have not requested anything specific.

07 Revision schedule

How this compares to buying a website the usual way

  • 01ContractThe usual way: A 12-month agreement you cannot exit early. This plan: No lock-in beyond the current billing month, cancel with proper notice.
  • 02HostingThe usual way: A separate hosting, SSL and CDN bill on top of the build. This plan: Cloudflare hosting, SSL, CDN and DDoS protection, nothing itemised.
  • 03RevisionsThe usual way: Billed hourly, and the meter runs whether the change is small or large. This plan: 5 included a month, then a flat $20 each.
  • 04DomainThe usual way: An annual renewal invoice from a separate registrar. This plan: One domain included free for as long as your plan is active.
  • 05Build fee timingThe usual way: Charged up front, before you have seen a single page. This plan: Invoiced only after your site is live and you have approved it.
  • 06TurnaroundThe usual way: A revision request sits in a queue for weeks. This plan: Every revision completed within 2 to 5 working days.

The website
Custom-coded pages, 90+ PageSpeed guaranteedEvery page is hand built and served from Cloudflare's edge, with a 90+ Google PageSpeed score guaranteed on mobile and desktop.Solves: A homeowner on a job-site signal or a paid-ad click leaves a slow page before your number even shows. Your part: Nothing.
A page for every service you runPanel upgrades, drain cleaning, mini-splits, stamped concrete: each service you name gets its own page and its own quote button.Solves: One "our services" page cannot rank for ten different jobs. Your part: List your services on the onboarding form.
Location pages for the towns you workA real page for each town, county or service radius you name, crossed with the services you run there.Solves: Directory listings with the same forty towns outrank the crew that actually lives there. Your part: Tell us where your trucks go.
Quote request tool built for your tradeA short form that asks what sizes the job first: job type, property, scope, timeline and photos.Solves: A "call me back" message tells you nothing about whether the job is worth a truck roll. Your part: Approve the questions on the onboarding call.
Lead intake into your CRMEvery form and chat enquiry lands in the CRM, dispatch tool or inbox you already use, by direct API, Zapier or Make.Solves: A lead sitting in a website inbox nobody opens is a job handed to a competitor. Your part: Tell us where leads should land. We test it before launch.
Compliance pages that come with the sitePrivacy policy, terms, a cookie policy with a consent banner that really holds back tracking scripts, and an accessibility statement, plus your license number where your state expects it.Solves: Most trade sites have none of these, or a copied privacy page that names another business. Your part: Confirm your business details and license numbers.
Found on Google and in AI answers
Technical and on-page SEOClean page structure, one clear topic per page, titles, descriptions, internal links, a sitemap and fast pages from day one.Solves: A site search engines cannot read properly never gets a fair shot at local searches. Your part: Nothing.
Answer-ready content (AEO)Answer-first copy, FAQ blocks and structured answers written so Google can lift them into featured snippets and voice answers.Solves: Homeowners ask questions ("why is my breaker tripping?"), and the site that answers plainly gets the click. Your part: Nothing.
AI-assistant readiness (GEO)An llms.txt file, consistent business details and plainly stated facts, so assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can read and cite the site.Solves: Some homeowners now ask an AI assistant for a recommendation instead of searching. No one can guarantee a mention, but a site assistants cannot parse is never in the running. Your part: Nothing.
Schema markup (JSON-LD)Structured data for your business, services, FAQs and breadcrumbs on every page, so search and AI engines know exactly who you are and what you do.Solves: Without it, search engines guess at your business details from page text. Your part: Nothing.
Local ranking guaranteeIf the site is not ranking for local searches in your area within 3 to 5 months of launch, we keep doing the search work at no extra charge until it is.Solves: Paying for "SEO" with no commitment about results. Your part: Keep your services and area accurate with us.
Researched articles every weekArticles of 2,500 to 3,200 words, written for your trade and your area, with sources cited.Solves: Nobody on the crew has time to write, so the site never gains new pages to be found for. Your part: Nothing. Suggest a topic whenever you like.2 a week2 a week3 a week

The AI Engine
AI receptionistAnswers calls your team cannot pick up, takes the job details, books the appointment into your calendar and sends you a short call summary.Solves: After-hours and on-the-roof calls go to voicemail, and the homeowner calls the next company on the list. Your part: Review and approve its script before launch.
Site chat widgetAnswers common questions about your trade on the website, takes details and books appointments.Solves: Visitors with a quick question leave instead of filling in a form. Your part: Approve the answers it gives.

10 Guarantees

What happens if it does not work out?

You are covered where it matters: you never pay for a build you have not approved, and the two things we promise, speed and ranking, come with a fix rather than an excuse.

  • Build fee only after you approve

The $697 build fee is invoiced once your site is live and you are satisfied with it. Never before.

  • 90+ PageSpeed, or we fix it free

On mobile and desktop, for the pages we build and host. If our work drops a page below it, we fix it at no charge.

  • Ranking within 3 to 5 months

If the site is not ranking for local searches in your area by then, we keep doing the search work at no extra charge until it is.

  • No yearly contract

Cancel by email at least 2 business days before your next invoice. The site runs to the end of the month you paid for.

  • Your domain stays yours

Registered in your name. If you leave, we transfer it at no charge and export your content within 14 days.

The conditions, plainly: the guarantees do not cover changes made by you or third parties, content published against our advice, or ranking outside your area and services. The remedy is the corrective work, not a refund: all sales are final except a duplicate or incorrect charge reported within 30 days. Full wording in the terms and refund policy.

Pricing questions, answered

Do you build sites for every trade, or a specific one?

We build for specialist trade contractors across many trades: electricians, plumbers, HVAC contractors, painters, landscapers, concrete and masonry crews, flooring contractors, fencing and garage door companies, and more. Each site is built around the pages that specific trade needs, not a generic "contractor" template with the trade name swapped in.

How long until my site is live?

7 days on Site Crew, 10 on Site Foreman while the AI agents are trained, and 15 on Site General with the Content Engine running. The clock starts at the onboarding call, not at purchase, so the sooner the onboarding form is in, the sooner you are live.

What is actually included every month?

The website itself, hosting, one domain, weekly detail updates, researched articles, CRM routing for every enquiry and 5 revisions a month, on every plan. Site Foreman adds the AI Engine and Site General adds the Content Engine on top of everything in the plans below it.

What happens straight after I buy?

You fill in the onboarding form and submit it. It asks for your trade, the services you run, the towns you serve, your brand, your domain and where enquiries should land, and it takes about 15 minutes. If something is missing, submit anyway: send the rest by email or raise it as a ticket in your client portal, and it will not hold up the build. We then run one onboarding call to fill any gaps and agree the launch date.

What is the client portal?

It is your account with us, and you get it the day your site goes live. From the portal you request revisions, raise a support ticket for anything that needs attention, send us files you still owe us, and message our team directly. Everything to do with your site runs through it, so nothing gets lost in an inbox. You never log in to the website itself; we handle that side.

Do I need professional photos before we start?

No. We can launch with stock photography suited to your trade and swap in your own project photos as you send them, at no extra cost, as a normal revision. Many contractors send photos gradually from job sites over the first few months rather than gathering them all before launch.

What counts as a revision, and what happens after five?

A revision is any change request you send, and there is no limit on how much goes into one. A new service page, an updated service area, a different set of project photos, a color change: each is one revision. So is something much larger. "Build pages for three new towns, here is the copy for each" is one revision, not three. 5 are included every month. After that, each additional revision is a flat $20, with no cap on how many you can buy and no hourly billing anywhere. Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days, whatever the size.

How do I actually request a change?

Raise it in your client portal. You describe the change, attach anything we need, such as new job site photos, and it lands with the team as a tracked request so you can see where it is. You can also email us or reply to any thread with our team, and we log it for you. Unused revisions do not roll over to the next month.

Can a revision add a whole new service or town, not just edit an existing page?

Yes. Adding a new service page or a new service area page is a normal revision, the same as editing an existing page. If your crew starts offering a new service or expands into a new county, that is exactly the kind of change the included revisions are for.

What do the researched articles actually cover?

Topics real homeowners search before hiring in your trade: maintenance schedules, warning signs, permit and inspection basics, and cost ranges clearly labeled as illustrative rather than quoted. Site Crew and Site Foreman publish 2 a week, Site General publishes 3 a week with the Content Engine, each 2,500 to 3,200 words.

Do the articles give safety or code advice?

No. Articles are general information about your trade, written to earn a search click and build trust, never a substitute for a licensed visit or an inspection. Anything that reads as safety, code or licensing advice is written to point the reader toward booking a call with you, not to replace one.

Do you do SEO, or just build the website?

Both, on every plan. Technical SEO (speed, structure, sitemaps), on-page SEO (titles, descriptions, headings, internal links), a page for every service and every town you serve, schema markup and weekly articles are all part of the build and the monthly service. If the site is not ranking for local searches in your area within 3 to 5 months of launch, we keep doing the search work at no extra charge until it is.
