What the build fee pays for
The build fee covers the first build, the part of the work that happens once. Everything that runs month after month sits in your plan.
The page architecture
Working out the page set your trade needs: a page per service you sell and per town you cover, and how they link together.
The copy, written for your trade
Every page written from your onboarding form and the call, in the words your buyers use, not a template with the name swapped.
The quote tool
Set up to ask the questions you would ask on the phone, so an enquiry arrives already sized.
The migration
Whatever is worth keeping from your old site moved across, and the old addresses redirected so nothing you ranked for is lost.
It is invoiced after launch rather than up front because the build is not finished until you say it is. Plans started on or before Thursday, December 31, 2026 carry a waiver and are never invoiced for it.

03 Payment sequence
How paying works

Pick the slip for your plan
The amount is the same on all three. The plan is only recorded so the payment is matched to your account.

Pay on the secure Stripe checkout
Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Receipt and invoice by email
Stripe emails the receipt as soon as the payment clears, and the paid invoice follows for your books.

Nothing recurring
This is a single payment. It never renews, and it does not change what your monthly plan costs.

Build fee questions, answered straight
Is the build fee a subscription?
No. It is a single payment of $697. It is taken once, it never renews, and nothing else is charged from this page. Your monthly plan is a separate subscription that you started when you ordered.
Do I need to pay a build fee at all?
Only if we have told you one is due. The build fee is invoiced after launch, once you have approved your site. Plans started on or before Thursday, December 31, 2026 have the build fee waived in full, so if yours was one of them there is nothing to pay here.
Why is the amount the same on every plan?
Because the build itself is the same job whichever plan you are on: the page architecture, the copy, the quote tool and the migration. What changes between plans is the work that runs every month after launch, and that is priced in the monthly rate, not in the $697 build fee.
Is paying here safe?
Yes. The button opens a checkout hosted by Stripe over an encrypted connection. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers.
Can the build fee be refunded?
All sales are final, and that includes the build fee. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge that we made, reported within 30 days, which is refunded in full. The refund policy sets this out in full.
